Hot Rolled Coils

Hot rolled steel coils are produced by rolling steel at high temperatures, typically above 1,000°C, which allows the material to be shaped and formed easily while maintaining excellent structural integrity. This process provides the steel with enhanced ductility and toughness, making it suitable for applications that require large-scale fabrication and forming. The surface of hot rolled steel coils has a characteristic scaled finish, which can be further treated or processed depending on the intended application. While the surface may appear rough compared to cold rolled steel, it offers excellent workability for welding, cutting, and machining operations.
